Who is Stefany? And what is your role in the company?
I work as a Recruiter at Oceans, in this role, my goal is to bring the best talent to the team aligned with the values of our company as well as our client expectations. I consider myself a highly energetic, happy person, and I do my best to uphold my personal values every day. I am also a Christian and actively involved with my community.
How long have you been with Oceans? What was your first impression?
It has been about two years since I joined. I can best describe it as an experience of continuous growth, from my first contact with the company I was able to perceive aspects that I value a lot, such as great communication and transparency, which have been key for that successful growth.
What is it like to work at Oceans?
Despite the fact that we have always worked remotely, it feels like a surprisingly close and warm environment. Working hand in hand with people with such great talent and abilities has contributed a lot to my experience.
Tell us about one thing you are proud to have accomplished at Oceans
I have been part of the company’s growth since some of its earlier stages, it feels like my contributions have had an impact on each objective achieved, and that fills me with pride.
What is your main motivation on a day-to-day basis?
I have clear projections and goals for my professional career, this is what motivates me the most at work. Sometimes when I have felt challenged by a new responsibility or objective, I think about how each one of those small achievements will lead me toward achieving those bigger goals that I pursue.
What are your career expectations?
I found my vocation in recruitment, although other areas of HR have also been important to me, I want to expand my knowledge in this area with an specific focus on the information technology industry.
What do you enjoy most about working remotely?
I can’t overstate how wonderfully working remotely has worked out for me, especially during a particularly important part of my life during which I wanted to be able to share more time with my family after being away from them for a while.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
I really enjoy sharing time with my parents, even if it’s just having a coffee or a dinner, or just being together while sitting and chatting at the table, it is one of the activities that I value the most. I love music, I enjoy singing, dancing, and attending concerts—which I look forward to doing again once the current events of the pandemic subside—and I also exercise regularly.
