Who is Ana? And what is your role in the company?
I consider myself a humble and brave person. I enjoy listening and helping others, I just love to serve. I am a person with a good sense of humor who is not afraid to smile even during difficult times.
As part of the recruiting team at Oceans, I am committed to finding, attracting, and hiring the greatest code experts out there.
How long have you been with Oceans? What was your first impression?
I have been here for about four months, I started as a part-time employee but very soon the company offered me a full-time position. I found that the environment is very professional and that communication across teams and team members is transparent and fluid.
Tell us about one thing you are proud to have accomplished at Oceans
I have enjoyed working at Oceans a lot, mainly because they have allowed me to develop as a professional. It is an environment in which they constantly challenge and inspire you to grow, to be the best version of yourself every day.
Just having had the opportunity to join the company already made me very proud. But I am also proud to be trusted enough to receive more challenging and impactful tasks.
What is your main motivation on a day-to-day basis?
My motivation every day is continuous self-improvement, understanding I need to keep growing in order to meet the goals that I have both professionally and personally. I truly believe that, with effort, passion, and determination I will achieve what I set out to do.
What are your career expectations?
I want to gain experience and learn from each of the challenges that arise along the way, to be able to contribute, and then teach and advise others from what I learn.
What do you enjoy most about working remotely?
What I enjoy the most is not having to commute every day, which saves me a lot of time that I can put to good use in other tasks both at work and at home.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
Usually with my family, we love to watch movies and go out for walks together. I also really enjoy serving at church, giving back to my community, and singing.
