Who is Oscar? And what is your role in the company?
I’m an easy-going person despite having a beard that won’t shed light of a big smile underneath. Developer lead in few projects of our clients, health- and finance-related businesses.
How long have you been with Oceans? What was your first impression?
It’s been a recent run of about a year. Since the beginning was able to tell two very important things, teamwork and transparency which are key to a healthy environment.
What is it like to work at Oceans?
When it comes to environment, you definitely feel that you’re around approachable and goal-oriented people. Always with time for have a helping hand in case it is needed.

Returning business value to our customers is always the main goal and when you do so, it provides a great deal of gratitude personally and to the team.
What is your main motivation on a day-to-day basis?
Absorbing knowledge, there’s at least chance that putting attention to your daily routinely tasks you will find a way to do it more efficient.
What are your career expectations?
Software engineering has become a world in which you can specialize in so many areas that to the best of your ability you should try to understand the basics, so you can always give support in any stack of a possible architecture.
What do you enjoy most about working remotely?
Embracing the digital nomad lifestyle. When you have the chance to take full advantage of remote work, not depending on a desk and/or office, you can redefine productivity.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
Taking care of a few hobbies of my own (travel, music, sports and running) but lately just quality time with my dog for obvious reasons.
