Job Summary 
We're seeking a highly adaptable and seasoned Backend Engineer with strong and a passion for mastering Java. You'll contribute to building a large-scale distributed system and collaborate across multiple teams to develop high-performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of scalable, service-oriented backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that power complex distributed systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using and Java
• Participate in technical discussions and provide input on architecture and design decisions
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability
• Attend and actively contribute to scheduled meetings across different time zones

Job Requirements

• Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
• 10+ years of experience of experience in backend engineering, ideally with experience and Java.
• Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial)
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals with a deep understanding of Java or a willingness to master it.
• Proven punctuality and reliabilityflexible work hours, but timely attendance in meetings is essential
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), and awareness of container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with service bus architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and service buses

Nice to have

• Understanding of infrastructure-based deployments on Azure (cloud-native expertise not required)
• Knowledge of core Azure architecture

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer flexibility to work remotely.
