Job Summary

We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Product Owner who thrives in Agile environments and is passionate about turning business vision into impactful product solutions. If you love working across teams to drive priorities, solve real user problems, and lead end-to-end product delivery this role is for you.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and prioritize product features, epics, and user stories to align with product strategy and maximize business value.
• Maintain a well-groomed and organized backlog to ensure the team has a continuous pipeline of actionable tasks.
• Lead sprint planning sessions and guide the elaboration of user stories with clarity and precision.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management to ensure backlog items reflect business priorities and ROI expectations.
• Own release planning and set clear expectations for the delivery of new functionalities.
• Actively mitigate impediments that may impact successful sprint or release completion.
• Stay up to date with Agile/Scrum best practices, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve team performance.

Job Requirements

• Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile software development environments
• Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial
• Proven expertise in backlog management, sprint planning, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are a plus

Nice to have 

• Portuguese language proficiency is highly desired and will be prioritized in the selection process.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
