Job Summary 
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Product Owner to drive data-driven initiatives and manage product development in an agile environment. This role will focus on aligning data models and solutions with measurable business outcomes while ensuring data quality and compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product backlog, aligning it with business goals and outcomes.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and analytics teams.
• Lead the development of data products using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder reviews.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data models and solutions.
• Oversee the design and validation of data models, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with Azure data platform teams to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Monitor and measure the performance of data products, ensuring alignment with KPIs.
• Advocate for data governance, quality, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Requirements

• Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
• 6+ years of experience in Data/Analytics/BI roles, with 3+ years in a Product Owner or Business Analyst capacity.
• Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with relational, dimensional, and NoSQL/data lake models.
• Azure experience: Hands-on with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, SQL, Data Lake).
• Proven ability to gather, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, and Azure DevOps/JIRA.
• Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
• Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) are a plus

Nice to have 

• Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Familiarity with machine learning models and data analytics tools.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
