Job Summary 
We're seeking a talented Software Engineer to help modernize a large-scale system by translating legacy code, implementing clean Python solutions, and supporting a transition to AWS. This is a great opportunity to work on technically challenging projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Convert legacy SAS code into Python with a focus on accuracy and performance
  • Write clean, maintainable, and object-oriented Python code
  • Participate in platform modernization and architectural improvements
  • Support DevOps activities, including CI/CD and application migration to AWS
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate closely with team members to deliver results under tight deadlines

Job Requirements

  • Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (Python)
  • Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems
  • Familiarity with AWS services and cloud migration strategies
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and ability to work autonomously

Nice to have 

  • Ability to understand and translate SAS code into Python is highly desired
  • Java knowledge is a plus

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
